The two Fribourg based companies, Cremo and Villars Maître Chocolatier, have decided to work together in order to bring back the traditional drinking chocolate by using real chocolate and milk produced from the region.

The product is packaged in a UHT carton that has a long shelf life and is very easy to use. It can either be heated up in a pan or a coffee machine, if you are a restaurant/café owner, without having to stir or shake the product.

Cremo provides a creamy traditional milk that typically characterises our Swiss regions, and Villars produces a pure traditional Swiss chocolate that is based on the finest cocoa beans selected from the best plantations in Ghana and Ecuador.

This beautiful combination allows us to recall some memories from our past, and also to rediscover an authentic Swiss drinking chocolate, that can also be found in Austria and Italy. This is remarkably different from the stronger and fuller-bodied French taste. With its naturally velvety and thick texture, this chocolate is normally liked and consumed as it is. However if you prefer it more diluted, you can just add milk.
