Couverture Stévia, sans sucre ajouté
A premiere in Europe! The first couverture chocolate in Europe using a sweetener of natural origin from the stevia plant.
Villars is now launching "Noir 60%", the first couverture chocolate in Europe without added sugar, using a sweetener of natural origin from the stevia plant.
The philosophy of Villars in the creation of its traditional, luxury Swiss chocolates is to avoid using any artificial additives. The chocolate maker was won over by the first studies carried out in Switzerland on rebaudioside A from the stevia plant and in 2009 it created the first chocolate bar using this sweetener of natural origin.
Originating from South America and used in Asia since 1970, stevia has an extraordinary sweetness, 300 times greater than sugar and without this having negative effects.
This dark chocolate couverture without added sugar, using a sweetener of natural origin, enables to make traditional products, allowing to enjoy a chocolate with subtle and complex aromas of the great cocoa beans from Madagascar and Ghana, combining the strength of chocolate and the balance of its sugary taste while limiting the sugar content.
