Chocolate and oatmeal rock buns

 

Ingrédients :

• 330g of oatmeal
90g of dark chocolate chips
200g of brown sugar
100g of white sugar
20g of flour
330g of butter
1 large egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Salt

Preparation method:


Preheat the oven to 180°C and cover two baking sheets in greaseproof paper. Mix the oatmeal, sugar, flour, and salt in a bowl.

Make a well in the centre of the mixture and work in the butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Add the chocolate chips and stir.
Make little balls using a spoon, and place 8cm apart on the two baking sheets.

Cook in the oven for 5 to 8 minutes until they are golden and the centre starts to bubble. Place the biscuits on a baking rack and leave to cool.
